Well i have a wireless adaptor and it says that there are networks avalible but eont connect to xbox live?

my console is wireless and i have all the bars,and my connection is NOT better when i add a internet cable,if you are in the same room don't worry you should get all the bars you can see in settings,and should play with a good connection
