What is going on with my Windows 7 wireless internet connection on my laptop?

My signal continues to fluctuate from 4 bars to 2 bars and I am kicked off entirely from time to time. My adaptors are up to date. I am staying at a hotel w/wireless internet access for the weekend and this is driving me crazy..is their routers/ISP or is it my computer? thank you
