Can you buy kmart/Big-W brand blank clothing, print on them and then resell to the public?

Want to start own home business in printing on infant clothing and if i'm starting off small this was the cheapest way to go, instead of importing blank clothing from overseas. Cant seem to find blank baby singlets anywhere and this seemed like the easiest option. Was just wondering if it's legal? The tags have their brands printed on them like Essentials and Little Wonders.
