Ps2 using hard disk and network adaptor?

I like to have own copy of games at my Pc, Im using Hard disk I download to a shop far from my home, there are times the games accidentally erase on hard disk and I have to go back where I download to get back the games, I tried to attached the hard disk on my PC but it cannot detect so what is the software i need to view and download PS2 Games on hard disk
